“What If?”

What if?  What if?  What if?  It seems this question comes at us every day.

  • What if I said this…
  • What if I did that…
  • What if I didnt do or say that…

Sound familiar?  Have you ever caught yourself asking yourself those “What If” type of questions?  It comes down to this,  decisions. We all have decisions to make every day of our lives. We all make good and bad decisions. That’s life. Looking back on your life you probably can think of some really great decisions that you made, decisions that may have changed the course of your life. You can probably recall some really bad ones that affected you in a negative way as well.

I’ll be the first to admit, yes I’ve made some great decisions in my life, and yes I’ve made some absolutely horrible ones.  As I mentioned a minute ago we all make good and bad decisions.  Yes that’s life, but hopefully those bad decisions did something more than bring about a negative outcome. Hopefully we learned something from them.

2 Doors Ahead

Sometimes we may be faced with a situation,  we make a decision, and as soon as we do we thing “what have I got myself into”? That’s what I was asking myself several years ago. It’s as if I was in front of 2 doors. One labeled “stay at your dead end job, be miserable, and working for someone else”.  The other door labeled “take a leap of faith,  there’s an opportunity waiting for you if you just make the decision to take it”. I was at a dead end job I had been at for almost 15 years, hadn’t had a raise in close to 6 years,  and was mentally and physically exhausted.  After thinking about it for some time, I decided to take a huge leap of faith and began a whole new career path, I enrolled in Barber College. Yes I am now a Licensed Master Barber.  It took me 2 years, but it was a decision that has changed my life for the better in so many ways.

Now after a couple years of building a client base in the barber shop and working for myself,  I not long ago found myself in front of 2 doors again.  One labeled “enjoy the success you have had and continue to have”.  The other,  “take that leap of faith again, another opportunity is waiting for you if you decide to take it”.  I decided to take that leap of faith and revive my passion for marketing online.  I dabbled in it many years ago but let other things distract me from pursuing it like I wanted.  Time is constantly moving and if we for even the slightest time stand still, time keeps right on marching. Opportunities come and go.  Doors open and we have to decide whether to step through and seize the opportunity or not.  I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “When one door closes another opens”.  Yes that’s true, but if we are distracted and life is throwing curve balls at us, chances are we won’t see the opportunity in front of us.  When you are standing in front of that open door of opportunity the question arises “What if?” do I or don’t I. We need to make a decision. How do we make decisions?  Well that depends on what we want. In his best selling classic book Think and Grow Rich,  Napoleon Hill says that the reason so many people fail is their lack of knowing what they want out of life.  Do you know what you want?

Well,  I know what I want and to work towards those goals I made the decision to walk through the door of opportunity.  We don’t know each other, but if you’re like me and interested in marketing online I want to introduce you to a gentleman that has proven himself as one of the most successful marketers in the internet world.  What if what he shows you could change your life? What if he walked you step by step through the process of what it takes to be successful online?

I am going to open a door for you, but its up to you to walk through it.  I hope you decide to walk through the door of opportunity.
